     If you know of a jam session or regularly held bluegrass event going on that isn’t shown on this list, and would like us to add it to the page, please contact us at the link provided on this page.  In your e-mail, please include the location of the jam, any directions that may apply for getting there, and the time schedule for the jam.

     While attending one of the events listed below, if Common Ground is not booked to perform, and you would like to see us perform there in the future, politely ask the event organizer to check out our website and please consider contacting us for a show booking.  It’s you the fan, and your desire to see your favorite bluegrass artists perform, that help event organizers to decide the program lineup.  Thank you very much for your support.

ILLINOIS

INDIANA

DATE: Each Friday evening .

START TIME: 06:00-PM local time.  Doors open at 05:00-PM.

LOCATION: Connersville, Indiana.  Darsett Hall.

     Darsett Hall is where the JC’s hold their meetings.  It is located on 35^th St. on the north side of Connersville, Indiana.  If you are traveling North on Rt. 1, turn right, (East), off of Rt. 1, onto 35^th St., at the old fire house.  Darsett Hall is on the left.

DETAILS: Connersville Bluegrass Music Association’s weekly bluegrass shows.

     The doors open at 05:00-PM, and the show begins at 06:00-PM.  There is a $5.00 per person charge at the door.

DETAILS: Weekly bluegrass performances by local area bands, set in a restaurant atmosphere.  They usually offer 2 performances.

DETAILS: This is a jam show.  Bands                sign up and perform throughout the night on stage.  At the end there                is an all out jam with all

pickers.  Join in to show off your regional                band!  Plenty of seating.  Come to listen or jam or play!  Concessions                and refreshments available.  Good old family entertainment.  Love                offering covers the rental costs of the building.

     Located at the Columbus Air Port.

DETAILS: Groups of pickers and jams,                within small and large circles. Beginning to advanced. Sometimes                we get as many as 100 pickers!

LOCATION: Terre Haute, Indiana.  Rose Hulman Institute Of Technology.

          Traveling from Indianapolis, take Interstate 70 West to Terre Haute, take exit 11, (HWY 40).  Take 40 North to the T, which is HWY 41, turn right or East and the entrance to Rose Hulman is at the next stop light.  Turn left into the entrance and then you'll immediately turn right and follow the drive as it curves around the building.  You can park in either of the parking lots there.  Enter in the East door of Moench Hall and go up to the second floor.  The entrance you should use is the one just under the water tower.
