The Old Star Theater is located inside the old Williamstown WAL-MART building, just North of Williamstown, Kentucky. The building has been converted into a type of indoor flee market. You will find the theater/flee market building located on the right, traveling North on US-25/N MAIN ST/KY-22, between Dry Ridge and Williamstown Kentucky.
Coming from Lexington, Kentucky.
1. Take I-75 N from Lexington, Kentucky.
2. Take the BARNES ROAD exit, EXIT 156. 0.4 miles.
3. Turn RIGHT onto BARNES RD. 1.0 miles.
4. Turn LEFT onto US-25/N MAIN ST/KY-22. Continue to follow US-25/KY-22. 0.6 miles.
5. You will see your destination on the right, 1418 N MAIN ST.
Coming from Cincinnati, Ohio and Florance, Kentucky.
1. Take I-75 S from Florance, Kentucky. Distance from where 275 crosses I-75, . 29.0 miles.
2. Take the KY-22 exit, EXIT 159, toward DRY RIDGE/OWENTON. 0.2 miles.
3. Turn LEFT onto KY-22/KY-467/BROADWAY ST. 0.4 miles.
4. Turn LEFT onto E DRY RIDGE CONNECTOR RD/US-25 S. Continue to follow US-25 S. 2.7 miles.
5. US-25 S becomes US-25/KY-22. 0.2 miles.
6. You will see your destination on the left, 1418 N MAIN ST.
Traveling from the Cincinnati, Ohio/Florance, Kentucky area, you may decide to pass this first exit up and travel to the next, (The BARNES ROAD exit, EXIT 156). It seems to be a little easier and just as quick for us to travel on down to that exit.

COMMENTS: Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, and their musical instruments for parking lot jam sessions.
There will be a slow jam for individuals who are just starting out in bluegrass music. Its intention is for those who can’t quite keep up with faster bluegrass tunes. Everything will be played at a much slower, comfortable pace so that they may join in, practice and learn.

To get to Meadowgreen Park, you go east bound on I-64 from Lexington, Kentucky. Take exit 97 to the Mountain Parkway. Proceed to exit 16 and take a left at the stop sign (Rt 15). Go approximately 500 feet to a traffic light. Turn right at this point (Rt82), go approximately 1 mile where there is a sign on right saying "Meadowgreen Park Bluegrass Music 1/4 mile" (Forge Mill Rd). At this point, take a left and proceed until you see our welcome sign on right.
If you're coming from Richmond, take Rt. 52 east towards Irvine. Just before you get to Irvine, you'll see the 499 By-Pass on your left (there's a light). Take it and it'll take you across the Kentucky River to Rt. 89. Take a left at Rt. 89, then go six miles or so, until you see Rt. 82 going off to your right. Take it about another six miles and you'll see our "Meadowgreen Park Bluegrass Music 1/4 mile" sign on your left just after you cross the Red River. Take a right and follow the cars!
